US mulling WTO offer on key India services demand
The United States is prepared for the first time in world trade talks to discuss allowing more service professionals from India and other developing countries to work there, a U.S. industry official said.
U.S. trade officials were given permission to discuss the visa issue this week after months of consultation with White House national security officials and key members of Congress, Coalition of Service Industries president Bob Vastine said
Allowing the WTO to have guest worker Visas as something to trade not only puts global labor arbitrage on steroids, it circumvents US national immigration law.
